CHEMO PRECAUTIONS – FOR OTHERS!

If you live with other people, you will need to take extra precautions in the home after each chemotherapy treatment.

The chemotherapy that entered your body will eventually have to leave your system.

It exits your body in the form of

saliva,

sweat,

tears,

urine,

feces, and

vomit.

As such, precautions should be taken in the home to protect others as the meds flush out.

Research varies, but at minimum try to follow these guidelines for 48 hours post-chemo.
