Exercise Snack: March The Halls
"Exercise snacks" are short periods of physical activity.
This heightened, yet time-limited, level of activity may be ideal during chemotherapy because you may not have energy for a long workout. And doing a longer workout session may deplete your energy reserves.
Marching is a wonderful whole body workout. It promotes cardiovascular health, helps reduce chemo brain by bringing fresh, oxygenated blood to the brain, promotes good posture, and strengthens your core.
Standing Balance at the Sink
This short video contains two quick and easy balance activities at the sink.
If you've been inactive, perhaps due to chemo-induced fatigue or side effects of chemotherapy, then the exercise in this video may help you feel more secure on your feet.
Caution: only complete these activities if you are able to stand safely on your own.

Arm Chair Push-Ups
